Fast Lane 3 is a 2020 American film produced by Richard Horwitz Studios and distributed by Columbia Pictures. It is the 3rd installment in the Fast Lane franchise. In it, Jaxen Baldwin, now 18 years old, has to deal with the passing of his father, Gunner Baldwin. In the meantime, Enrique encourages the party life on him while a nefarious criminal emerges from the shadows and it's up to Jaxen to stop it.
It was released on September 18, 2020 on simultaneous VOD and theater releases to mixed to positive reviews from critics and grossed $323 million worldwide against its budget of $150-175 million.

A third Fast Lane movie was announced on October 2, 2017, shortly after the release of Fast Lane 2. Richard Horwitz, the CEO of Richard Horwitz announced "there's at least enough tread left in this franchise for one more blockbuster" and targeted a 2020 release date.
Filming[]
Filming took place between February and March 2019 in Miami, Florida and Salt Lake City, Utah, in April in Sacramento, California, and wrapped up in May and June 2019 in Washington, DC and Key West, Florida.
Release[]
Fast Lane 3 was released on September 18, 2020 on a simultaneous VOD and theatrical release, where it was rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America. It opened in the United Kingdom on October 2, 2020 in theaters where it was rated 12 by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC).

Fast Lane 3 premiered on Netflix on December 11, 2020 worldwide before being released on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on January 5, 2021.

On its opening weekend, Fast Lane 3 made $15.8 million in the United States and Canada, ranking No. 1 for that week. During that weekend, it made $79.4 million overseas, resulting in a worldwide opening of $95.2 million. On the 2nd weekend, it made $8.3 million in the United States and Canada, still ranking No. 1 and $56 million overseas. On the 3rd weekend, it made $4.4 million in the United States and Canada, still hanging on to No. 1 and $40.1 million overseas. On the 4th weekend, it made $3.1 million in the United States and Canada, and $29.3 million overseas. On the 5th weekend, it made $1.7 million domestically and $18 million overseas.
As of November 22, 2020, it made $41.2 million in the United States and Canada and $281.8 million overseas, resulting in a worldwide total of $323 million.
Critical reception[]
Fast Lane 3 received mixed-to-positive reviews from critics. On Rotten Tomatoes it has an approval rating of 70% out of 289 reviews with an average rating of 6.30/10 critic consensus that reads "Fast Lane 3 proves itself that the series that it can still bring a movie that's entertaining for fans of the series.". On Metacritic, Fast Lane 3 is assigned a weighted average of 62 out of 100 based on 45 critics, indicating "generally positive reviews".
